Job summary

Busey is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join the Core Development team at FirsTech. The role focuses on interpreting customer requirements and building solutions within the FirsTech framework using Agile practices and rigorous quality standards.

The engineer will lead initiatives, mentor peers, and act as a subject matter expert across platforms while collaborating with product management and customers to drive high-quality, scalable software solutions.

Qualifications

• Proficient in C# and .NET development.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL and IIS.
• Familiarity with Visual Studio and Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Identify short and long-term solutions to customer needs.
• Lead development initiatives and mentor junior engineers.
• Act as SME on assigned application platforms and architectures.
• Evaluate and propose architectural improvements for existing solutions.
• Collaborate with global teams and stakeholders to ensure delivery.
