Busey is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join its Core Development team in Colorado. You will translate customer and product requirements into robust, multi‑tier solutions using C# and .NET within our payment platform.

You'll lead and mentor colleagues, advocate SOLID design, and propose architectural improvements while collaborating across Agile teams. Strong communication and a customer‑centric approach are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 4–6 years of experience.
• Ability to deliver high-quality multi-tier application solutions.
• Experience leading scrum teams and mentoring others.
• Strong knowledge of coding concepts and architectural patterns.

Responsibilities

• Lead development efforts and act as SME on assigned platforms.
• Analyze and propose architectural changes to existing solutions.
• Coach team on SOLID design and best practices.
• Interpret requirements from customers and product management into concrete designs.
• Collaborate across Agile teams to improve processes and delivery.
