Job summary

Epsilon is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Core Platform Engineering team to design, implement, and maintain high-performance, low-latency advertising services. The role collaborates across product, platform, and operations teams to optimize system performance and enable frontend integrations.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 6+ years of backend/full-stack experience, strong Java, and experience with streaming platforms (Kafka, Kinesis, Pulsar).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS or a related field.
• 6+ years of backend/full-stack development experience.
• Strong Java expertise with streaming platforms (Kafka, Kinesis, Pulsar).
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases; knowledge of low-latency systems.
• Experience with TypeScript and modern SPA frameworks (Angular, React).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain high-performance backend services.
• Collaborate with product, platform, and operations teams.
• Improve observability and fault tolerance; champion CI/CD practices.
• Partner with data engineering for event tracking and analytics.
