Epsilon is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our Development Team in the Data Practice. You will contribute to high-volume production applications using Java, C++, and other modern languages, while aligning with standards, security, and collaboration with a cross-functional team.

Qualifications

• Develop, test and maintain high-volume production software applications using Java, C++, Perl, SQL, UNIX.
• Experience with web services, APIs, and data integration concepts.
• Exposure to AWS cloud services and CI/CD practices.
• Familiarity with multi-threaded parallel system components.

Responsibilities

• Clarify business rules with project manager and client representatives.
• Develop, test and maintain software applications guided by senior engineers.
• Create technical specifications and design documentation.
• Follow coding standards and participate in code reviews.
• Document work and facilitate transfer to production staff.
• Learn architectural, security and development best practices.
• Manage tasks with Jira and participate in release retrospectives.
