Speechify is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Core Experiences Team. You will help build foundational services and SDKs powering Speechify across platforms, collaborating with product teams to deliver scalable, reliable APIs and systems.

You’ll design efficient abstractions, improve algorithms, and ship backend services in Kotlin, contributing to a fast-growing, remote-friendly startup that values autonomy and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform for cross-platform services.
• Experience with cloud platforms, especially GCP, is a plus.
• Strong systems thinking and collaboration with product teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Teams to scope projects and deliver SDK solutions.
• Optimize functionality for faster loading and smarter parsing.
• Ship cloud functions and lightweight backend services using Kotlin.
