Job summary

Speechify, the leading audio information platform, is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join the Core Experiences Team. You will design and maintain foundational services and SDKs powering Speechify across platforms, focusing on reliable APIs and scalable systems.

You’ll collaborate with product teams to scope projects, optimize performance, and ship back-end services and Kotlin-based cloud jobs. Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform and GCP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Kotlin Multiplatform architecture and APIs.
• Experience with Java is a plus for cross-platform work.
• Strong cloud platform experience, preferably GCP.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Teams to scope projects and balance UX tradeoffs.
• Design, optimize, and ship SDKs and backend services for cross-platform experiences.
• Deliver efficient cloud functions and jobs using Kotlin.
