Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced software engineer to drive multi-language development and secure, scalable solutions. You will translate customer needs into a practical product vision, implement robust software using modern stacks, and contribute to design reviews, testing, and integration in collaborative teams.

You will work on systems that require strong algorithms, data structures, and patterns, while ensuring quality and timely delivery in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/SE/related field or equivalent full-time experience.
• 3–5+ years of relevant experience in software engineering.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Understanding of object-oriented programming and data structures.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into a refined vision.
• Experience with software testing and configuration management.
• Experience with cross-functional teams in dynamic environments.
• Strong analytical, communication, ownership, urgency, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Manage requirements to define, validate and control project scope and deliverables.
• Support conversion of customer requirements into a refined vision.
• Develop software using multiple languages and technology stacks.
• Design and implement solutions using data structures, algorithms, and patterns.
• Prototype next-generation solutions and explore new technologies.
• Develop interfaces and integrate components across environments.
• Ensure quality and alignment with stakeholder acceptance criteria.
• Participate in design and code reviews and support testing activities.
• Assist with risk assessment, planning and delivery of contractual deliverables.
