King County Department of Information Technology (KCIT) seeks Senior Software Engineers to design and deliver cloud-native solutions using Microsoft Azure, Power Platform, Dynamics 365, and Sitecore. You’ll support legacy apps, handle Tier 3 escalations, and build secure, scalable, user-centered applications for public service.

Ideal candidates combine strong technical depth with collaboration and a passion for civic tech.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of professional experience with Microsoft stack including Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Visual Studio, C#, ASP.NET MVC/Web API, .NET Core, Entity Framework.
• Experience with Azure services (App Service, Logic Apps, Functions, API Management, Service Bus).
• JavaScript, HTML, CSS and modern frameworks (React/Angular).
• Hands-on Agile, DevOps, and Git version control experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design and deliver cloud-native applications using Power Platform, Dynamics 365, and Azure services.
• Build and maintain integrations using APIs, SDKs, and enterprise services.
• Develop web applications with modern JavaScript frameworks (React/Angular).
• Modernize legacy applications across platforms and technologies.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and documentation with Azure DevOps.
• Implement Dynamics 365 customizations, workflows, and Power Automate flows.
• Provide Tier 3 support for complex issues and train end users as needed.
• Stay current with new technologies and share knowledge across teams.
