Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. in Baltimore, MD is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade cloud-native applications using React or Svelte, TypeScript, .NET/C#, Python, and Azure services.

You will build scalable front-end experiences, implement backend services and data models, set up CI/CD pipelines, containerize workloads, and mentor teammates while collaborating with architects and product owners to deliver secure, high-performance solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with modern web front-ends using React or Svelte and TypeScript.
• Backend development experience with C#, .NET, and/or Python.
• Deep Azure expertise including App Services, Storage, API Management, and monitoring.
• Experience with IaC (Bicep/ARM) and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain modern cloud-native applications using React or Svelte, TypeScript, .NET, Python, and Azure services.
• Build responsive, scalable front-ends and robust back-end services and data models.
• Architect and deploy Azure resources using IaC and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop containerized workloads with Docker and Azure Container Apps.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.
• Mentor teammates and participate in code reviews, architecture reviews, and quality improvements.
