Job summary

RWE Americas, LLC is seeking a Sr Software Engineer I to own end-to-end software architecture for a cloud-native data platform serving 160+ assets. You will drive microservices design, ML integration, and secure data pipelines across Azure environments.

The role requires strong C#/ .NET, Python, and TypeScript skills, with experience in Go and modern CI/CD practices. Office-based with travel to other RWE offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years of verified software engineering experience in distributed, cloud-native environments.
• Proficiency across C#/.NET, Python, and TypeScript/React; familiarity with Go.
• Hands-on Azure cloud, Kubernetes/AKS, Terraform/Helm, and Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end system design and production-scale microservices in Azure.
• Develop automated data processing flows with ML anomaly detection.
• Architect high-throughput ETL pipelines and low-latency APIs.
• Perform multi-language code reviews to improve security and reliability.
• Establish observability with monitoring and real-time alerting.
