Job summary

Huntington Bank is hiring a Senior Software Developer to provide technical leadership for highly complex data, hardware, software and process initiatives in our Columbus, OH Easton Oval office.

The role requires 5+ years of hands-on software development experience in OOP, with strong skills in Java, Python, SQL, and Spring Boot. You will mentor teammates and drive strategic projects across multiple platforms and cloud environments (AWS & GCP).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years of equivalent software development experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on software development in OOP.
• 3+ years of experience with Java, Python, and SQL.
• 2+ years of experience with Spring Boot or microservice architecture.
• Experience in multi-cloud environments (AWS & GCP).
• Strong communication skills and ability to connect teams toward common goals.

Responsibilities

• Provides strategic technical leadership on complex technical matters.
• Analyzes, designs, and develops systems based on user specifications.
• Leads projects that are highly complex and strategic in nature.
• Coaches and mentors team members.
• Addresses systems integration, compatibility, and multi-platform challenges.
