Job summary

Delmar Nord is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help modernize portfolio analytics with Python and AWS. You will build cloud-native services, collaborate with quant researchers and portfolio managers, and contribute to a greenfield modernization effort.

You will work in a hybrid Boston office environment, using Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform, and write production-grade code across the stack while shaping the future of investment analytics.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional Python development.
• Experience building cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Experience with React or similar modern frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and enhance middle-tier services for investment analytics workflows.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, analysts, researchers, and business users to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Develop scalable tools for processing and delivering large-scale investment data.
• Build and improve full-stack web applications used by internal teams.
• Contribute to the architecture and evolution of a cloud-based platform.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Automate workflows and production-grade analytical applications with Python and C#.
