Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Denver, CO is seeking a Software Development Engineer to build and operate AWS Analytics services in air-gapped regions.

You will tackle complex problems, lead technical post-mortems, and drive automation and open-source initiatives across a large-scale distributed environment. You will collaborate with government customers, design scalable systems, and influence architectural decisions while aligning with AWS’s security and operational excellence

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years design or architecture experience for systems (design patterns, reliability and scaling).
• Bachelor's degree, or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional).
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above.

Responsibilities

• Develop, build, and operate AWS Analytics services for air-gapped regions.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration and resolve complex issues.
• Build and deploy solutions across thousands of devices at scale.
