Job summary

Quantinno Capital Management, based in New York, seeks an exceptionally talented Python Developer to scale and improve backend and cloud infrastructure. You will contribute to secure, high-performance distributed systems on AWS in a mission-critical environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience as a Cloud/Backend Engineer or related role.
• Advanced Python proficiency (3.10+), including async features.
• Proven expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure and its inner workings.
• Experience with data-intensive workloads using Pandas, PyArrow, Polars or similar.
• Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and message queues.
• Proficiency in Linux environments, system administration, and shell scripting.

This individual will be instrumental in scaling and improving our mission-critical backend and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate brings a track record of delivering secure, high-performance distributed systems on AWS.

• Design and develop scalable backend services to support customer-facing and internal applications

Qualifications

• Strong experience with data-intensive workloads and libraries such as Pandas, PyArrow, Polars, or similar in cloud-native or distributed settings
• Solid understanding of event-driven architecture, message queues and service orchestration patterns
• Proficiency in Linux environments, system administration, and shell scripting
