Job summary

INDUS Technology, Inc. is seeking a Computer System Analyst III for a contingent, on-site role in Newport, RI. The candidate will lead CI/CD-driven software development for AIMTC systems, applying Agile methods and ensuring 508 compliance.

The role requires a active secret clearance, a Master’s degree in a CS-related field, and 7+ years of relevant experience in software design, development, or networks. Expect collaboration with government clients and integration across MSSQL/MySQL databases.

• 7+ years of experience in computer design, software development or networks.
• Experience developing software with React.
• Experience using Git and branching strategies.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Experience utilizing containers.
• Experience developing software in a cloud environment.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• US work authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and maintain web applications in collaboration with team members to develop scalable and high-performing web-based software solutions in accordance with requirements and Government schedule.
• Collaborate with AIMTC clients, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for web applications, ensuring solutions meet business needs and align with technical direction and schedule.
• Prioritize code quality, readability, maintainability, and scalability per AIMTC standards.
• Follow Agile, automated test coverage, and CI/CD processes for reliable development.
• Participate in monthly peer code reviews with constructive feedback.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications with regular updates and improvements.
• Integrate and maintain MSSQL and MySQL databases (≈50 databases).
• Adhere to CIA triad for security and data integrity.
• Prepare documentation for government review during development.
• Maintain DITPR-DON entries for AIMTC in production environment.
• Evaluate impact of change requests on performance, reliability, maintainability, and cost.
• Ensure 508 compliance for projects.
• Submit code via CI/CD tools per AIMTC policy.
• Bid and proposal support if requested.
• Other duties as assigned.
