Lansweeper, an AI-native platform company, seeks a Senior Software Engineer to build reliable, scalable systems on AI-assisted development streams from Austin. You will influence Discovery Team work on Traffic Sensor evolutions with AI at the core of design and delivery.

You will contribute to architecture discussions, ensure system quality, and mentor peers while collaborating with Product, UX, and Engineering teams in a hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong fundamentals: testing, version control, CI/CD, code review.
• Proven experience with C, C++, Golang or Rust for backend or distributed systems.
• Solid data modeling, APIs, and service-oriented architectures knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design and build maintainable, scalable, observable, and well-tested software systems.
• Operate in an AI-augmented development workflow, decomposing problems and validating AI outputs.

Senior Software Engineer – AI-Native Platform - C++ - GO - Rust

Austin, TX (Hybrid, 2–3 days per week in office)

Context & Impact

Lansweeper is evolving its engineering organization toward an AI-native development model. We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to build reliable, scalable systems while operating in an AI-augmented development environment. In the near term, you will contribute to the Discovery Team's work on Traffic Sensor evolutionary efforts, with AI capabilities at the center of everything we build. The team is responsible for ensuring system quality, architectural clarity, and scalable design across multiple parallel AI-assisted development streams. Longer term, you will help shape how AI-native engineering practices scale across the platform.

• 10+ years of relevant software engineering experience
• Strong foundation in software engineering fundamentals including testing, version control, CI/CD, and code review
• Proven experience in C, C++, Golang or Rust
• Experience building backend systems or distributed systems
• Solid understanding of data modeling, APIs, and service-oriented architectures
• Experience designing scalable and reliable systems
• Practical experience working in an AI-assisted development environment
• Experience with SQL
• Knowledge of networks and underlying hardware infrastructure

AI Specific Skills

Lansweeper is an AI-native company. In this role, you are expected to actively use AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, code assistants, and agent-based workflows as part of your daily engineering practice. You should be comfortable prompting, validating, and refining AI-generated outputs, and using AI to improve development speed while maintaining production-quality standards.

You’ll join the Discovery Team, working closely with Product, UX, and Engineering teams.
