Job summary

Xometry is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Buyer Experience organization. You will lead initiatives to build new features and maintain systems that drive the experience of buying custom manufacturing via the Xometry website.

You will collaborate with a product manager and engineers, provide hands-on technical leadership, conduct code reviews, and ensure delivery aligns with business timelines while maintaining high quality, performance, and scalability across the platform.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.
• Experience with an e-commerce/marketplace product is highly desired.
• Strong execution and communication skills with a focus on delivering high-quality software.
• Proficiency in frontend technologies: React, Typescript, HTML/DOM/CSS.
• Exposure to cloud hosting (AWS) and database technologies (SQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical leadership and contribute code while guiding the team.
• Lead code reviews and establish good coding patterns and design practices.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality software that meets customer expectations and timelines.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to grow the buyer experience on the Xometry site.
