Xometry is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our buyer experience organization. You will lead initiatives to build new features and maintain systems that drive the experience of buying custom manufacturing via the Xometry website.

You will work with a product manager and engineers to grow Xometry capabilities, focusing on Python backend and React/Typescript frontend, with AWS hosting. The role emphasizes leadership, code quality, testing, and delivery within a fast-paced environment,

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.
• Experience with e-commerce/marketplace products is highly desired.
• Strong technical execution with future roadmap awareness.
• Full-stack stack: Python backend and React/Typescript frontend.
• Cloud hosting, preferably AWS.
• SQL and MongoDB knowledge.
• Docker and Kubernetes containerization experience.
• Excellent debugging and communication skills.
• Focus on unit and integration testing.
