Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in San Mateo, CA is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build and optimize data platforms and pipelines used by GTM teams. You will read, mutate, and write data at scale, define architectures for multi-vendor integrations, and collaborate across Sales, Order, Finance, and Support to automate and improve data workflows.

Onsite five days a week at HQ, you will drive data quality and reliability, implement observability, and contribute to long-term GTM data roadmap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of software engineering with a focus on data systems.
• In-depth expertise in distributed systems and data processing.
• Passion for observability and reliability.
• Advanced skill in Python and SQL.
• Must be willing and able to work onsite five days per week.
• Bonus: Familiarity with GTM facing vendors such as ZoomInfo, Outreach, Marketo, Clay, Rox.

About the Role

As a member of our Business Systems Engineering team, you will build or improve tools that are used daily by Go to Market teams. Our goal is to find bottlenecks and friction points, and drive process improvements as well as come up with technical solutions. Our team is the custodian of data that is used by sales, order, finance, support teams. We emphasize automation over operation, metrics over anecdotes, iteration over perfection and being proactive over responsive.

Annual Pay Range

At the company, we want to attract and retain the best employees, and compensate them in a way that appropriately and fairly values their individual contribution to the company. With that in mind, we carefully consider a number of factors to determine the appropriate starting pay for an employee, including their primary work location and an assessment of a candidate's skills and experience, as well as market demands and internal parity. A the company employee may be eligible for additional forms of compensation, depending on their role, including sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and/or equity in the company in the form of restricted stock units (RSUs)

Below is the annual on-target earnings (OTE) range for full-time employees for this position, comprised of base compensation and commissions (if applicable).
