Affirm is hiring software engineers for a remote-first role in the United States. You will break down projects, deliver in phases, and collaborate with product, design, and analytics to ship features while ensuring reliability through on-call support.

Ideal candidates have 1.5+ years in software engineering, experience with React/Vue, React Native, and API design using Kotlin or Python, plus strong communication skills and a growth mindset. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Experience shipping web apps with React or Vue.
• Experience shipping mobile apps with React Native.
• Experience designing, developing and launching APIs with Kotlin or Python.
• Ability to write clear, well-tested, extensible code and own outcomes.
• Strong verbal and written communication for global collaboration.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
