Job summary

We value ownership, strong communication, and the ability to design APIs with Kotlin or Python, React/Vue web front-ends, and React Native mobile apps. Base pay ranges from 173000 to 233000 USD per year, plus equity and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Experience shipping web apps with React or Vue.
• Experience shipping mobile apps with React Native.
• Experience designing, developing and launching APIs at scale using Kotlin or Python.
• Able to turn a simple problem into a solution that interacts with multiple components and write clear, well-tested code.
• Able to navigate a large code base, debug others' code, and give feedback via code reviews.
• Demonstrates ownership of growth and seeks feedback from team, manager, and stakeholders.
• Strong verbal and written communication for collaborating with a global engineering team.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Break down larger projects into tasks, deliver in phases, and collaborate to ensure timely delivery.
• Collaborate with product management, design & analytics on ideation and decisions considering risks and trade-offs.
• Support operations and availability by creating and monitoring metrics and supporting on-call efforts.
• Contribute to team community through growth activities and interview participation.
