Job summary

Samaritan Ministries International (SMI) seeks a seasoned software developer to build quality software for members and staff within an Agile framework. You will collaborate with stakeholders, participate in the full SDLC, code reviews, Scrum practices, and pair/mob programming, while pursuing clean code and TDD and mentoring teammates.

This role supports a Christ-centered mission, welcomes ongoing staff development and leadership training, and requires strong problem solving and attention to

Qualifications

• Six or more years professional experience in software development.
• Proficient in Web API, React, TDD and SSDLC practices.
• Experience mentoring, coaching, and providing feedback to team members.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to build high quality software
• Participate in the full software development life cycle
• Participate in code reviews
• Participate in Scrum practices
• Participate in Pair/Mob programming sessions
• Strive to be a Software Craftsman (Clean Code / Solid Principles / TDD)
• Provide technical training and mentoring to other development team members
