Job summary

Digitech, part of the Sarnova family, seeks a Software Engineer to join a small development team. You will build and maintain cloud-based billing/software solutions for EMS clients, contributing to both backend and frontend efforts and supporting production environments.

You will collaborate with designers and business stakeholders, apply modern coding practices, and stay current with evolving technologies to improve user experience and performance. This role supports remote work within the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, software engineering or related field strongly preferred.
• 1–3 years of full-stack development experience preferred.
• Proficiency in either C#/SQL Server or Java/MySQL Server required; other languages beneficial.
• Experience in usability/interface design preferred.
• Familiarity with advanced SQL queries is a plus.
• Healthcare experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain software using established languages, standards, and methodologies.
• Test, analyze, and debug solutions across development, testing, and production environments.
• Provide production support to ensure reliable operation and fix issues proactively.
• Develop proofs of concept to evaluate feasibility of approaches.
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies to enhance product development, performance, and UX.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and stakeholders to meet requirements.
• Present and justify technical decisions clearly using sound engineering principles.
