Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (AWS/TypeScript) to design and build enterprise-grade microservices and web apps. This remote role is open to qualified applicants in the United States, with collaboration across product, QA, and architecture teams.

You will design RESTful services, implement CI/CD, and ensure security, performance, and maintainability while following Agile practices. Visa sponsorship not offered.

Senior Software Engineer (AWS/TypeScript)

About the role:

As a Sr Software Engineer, you will make an impact by designing and building enterprise-grade microservices and modern web applications that power scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions for our client. You will be a valued member of the Software Engineering delivery team and work collaboratively with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA teams, and Architects, and clients.

In this role, you will

• Design and develop enterprise-grade microservices using Java and Spring Boot, and build responsive web applications with TypeScript, AWS, and SQL/PLSQL.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.

Salary and Other Compensation

• The annual salary for this position is between $65,000 - $94,500 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
• This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
