Cognizant is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (AWS/TypeScript) to design and build enterprise-grade microservices and modern web apps. You’ll collaborate with Product Owners, BAs, QA, and Architects, delivering scalable, secure solutions. The role emphasizes TypeScript, AWS, Java/Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs, with a focus on CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Remote position open to qualified U.S. applicants; in-person interviews may be required.

Qualifications

Senior Software Engineer (AWS/TypeScript)

About the role:

As a Sr Software Engineer, you will make an impact by designing and building enterprise-grade microservices and modern web applications that power scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions for our client. You will be a valued member of the Software Engineering delivery team and work collaboratively with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA teams, and Architects, and clients.

In this role, you will

• Design and develop enterprise-grade microservices using Java and Spring Boot, and build responsive web applications with TypeScript, AWS, and SQL/PLSQL.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.

Salary and Other Compensation

• The annual salary for this position is between $65,000 - $94,500 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
• This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
