Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Java Full Stack Engineer to design and build cloud-native enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, React, and AWS. This remote role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere in the U.S.

and contribute to architectural decisions, code reviews, and scalable solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment and drive technical excellence across the SDLC.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong hands-on experience with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience building microservices and RESTful APIs in distributed application environments.
• Hands-on experience working with AWS cloud services and modern software delivery practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams, including sprint planning, estimation, and delivery activities.

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Full Stack Engineer with 7+ years of experience developing modern, scalable enterprise applications. In this role, you will design and build cloud-native solutions using Java, Spring Boot, React, and AWS while collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle. You will play a critical role in delivering high-quality applications, driving technical excellence, and contributing to architectural decisions that support business growth and innovation.

In this role, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade microservices and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build responsive and user-friendly web applications using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

What you need to have to be considered:

• Experience supporting large-scale modernization or cloud transformation initiatives.

Salary and compensation:

The annual salary for this position will be between $ 83,000 to $94 ,500 per year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
