Amazon Web Services is seeking senior engineers to shape the future of computing. You will join the Elastic Block Store (EBS) Data Services team and work on one of the world’s largest distributed storage systems, delivering high performance cloud storage for EC2.

You will collaborate with top engineers to design for latency, scalability and reliability, impacting millions of AWS customers worldwide from our Boston area office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one programming language.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Work with a high performance C++ software stack to reduce latency at microsecond scale.
• Design and solve for performance, availability and scalability problems.
• Develop software on the latest platforms and drive the roadmap for the next generation.
• Impact millions of customers by improving their experience as applications run in the AWS Cloud.
