Qualifications

• 8+ years of Software Engineering or Platform Engineering experience.
• Proven experience writing clean, scalable code in Python, Go, or Java.
• Hands-on experience with object storage APIs (AWS S3, Backblaze) and data transfer pipelines.
• Experience building programmatic financial models and cloud spend prediction.
• Understanding of AWS billing, pricing models, and scaling behaviors.
• Kubernetes (EKS) compute efficiency and Terraform deployments.

Responsibilities

• Lead programmatic effort to manage, forecast, and reduce cloud spend during Kubernetes migration.
• Architect transitions of data footprint from AWS S3 to cost-efficient storage providers.
• Develop and maintain client libraries/SDKs to abstract storage infrastructure.
• Create cost-control guardrails using code and automation (Terraform).
• Build cost observability and chargeback reporting for engineering teams.
