Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help develop intelligent, agentic systems that connect design, production, supply chain, and factory operations into an integrated autonomous ecosystem.

You will work with our automation team to design and implement autonomous agents that make intelligent decisions across manufacturing workflows—from material ordering to production optimization to quality assurance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
5-7 years of software development experience.
Strong experience building distributed systems and workflows.
Proficiency with Python or similar languages.
Experience integrating multiple systems/APIs.

Responsibilities

Design and develop autonomous agents that coordinate across manufacturing domains (design, supply chain, production, quality).
Build integrations between factory systems, design platforms, and material management systems.
Develop decision-making logic and workflows for autonomous factory operations.
Create monitoring and control systems for agentic workflows in production.
Collaborate with automation engineers to embed autonomous capabilities into our factory systems.
Implement data pipelines that feed real-time factory and supply chain data into decision systems.
