Job summary

• Minimum 5–7 years of hands-on Python and/or C# experience.
• Experience with serial data, requirements, and complex vehicle scenarios.
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining software tool chains.
• Ability to translate vehicle scenarios into test environments.
• Experience with multiple vehicle architectures and CAN/SOMEIP.
• Knowledge of automotive cybersecurity.
• Ability to lead technical solutions and mentor juniors.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements, analysis, development, and testing for major programs.
• Design software architecture and correct defects in software.
• Promote common software engineering practices across teams.
• Serve as SME for at least one platform/component and support another.
• Drive continuous improvements in development processes and tools.
• Develop and maintain test tools for CAN and Ethernet communications.
• Design, execute, and validate performance tests for features.
• Collaborate with Tier 1 suppliers, manufacturing, and integration teams.
• Create design specs, test plans, user guides, and root cause reports.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster technical excellence.
• Stay current with industry best practices and automotive trends.
