Job summary

TE Connectivity in Middletown, PA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop software platforms, automation systems, and data-driven solutions for active electric/optical connectivity products powering AI and data centers.

You will work on software for manufacturing automation, data analytics, and system integration, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions in a 100% on-site environment.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in CS, SWE, CE, or related technical field; Master’s preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience developing software applications, automation solutions, or engineering systems.
• Proficiency in Python, React, C++, Java or similar languages.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Jira and Confluence in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications supporting product development, manufacturing, testing, and automation initiatives.
• Develop automation software for assembly systems, machine vision, robotics, motion control, and data acquisition.
• Create applications and dashboards to collect, manage, visualize, and analyze manufacturing and product data.
• Document software requirements, architecture, validation protocols, user guides, and deployment support.
