Job summary

Deloitte US Delivery Center is hiring a US Delivery Senior Consultant, Software Engineering Solutions. You will build tools, APIs, and data workflows to support research and model development, while delivering production-grade pipelines and automation.

You will collaborate with data scientists and engineers, test and deploy analytic applications, and improve code quality and deployment reliability in a hybrid work environment with modest travel requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3+ years of software engineering or application development experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on Python development experience.
• 2+ years of experience with Git, version control, and repository-based development.
• Experience testing, debugging, and supporting production-oriented applications or utilities.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
• Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance internal tools, lightweight applications, APIs, and utilities that support research, analytics, and model development workflows
• Develop production-grade pipelines and automation to improve data processing, workflow execution, and operational handoffs
• Create integration components that connect data pipelines, repositories, APIs, and supporting applications
• Automate Git-based repository workflows, version control processes, testing, and developer productivity activities
• Partner with data scientists, data engineers, and operations teams to translate workflow challenges into practical technical solutions
• Test, troubleshoot, document, and support analytic applications and workflow utilities through deployment and operational handoff
• Improve development standards, code quality, deployment reliability, maintainability, and overall supportability of workflow components
