The Role

We are looking for software engineers eager to dive into engineering at Galileo and help us build payment systems at scale. In this role you will implement new functionality, squash bugs, test and deploy, monitor and support mission‑critical systems, and work on high‑scale modern payment technology.

What You’ll Do

• Be an integral part of the development and testing of our systems and services.
• Translate product requirements into user stories and technical solutions.
• Implement and support highly available and scalable services in production environments that impact millions of individuals.
• Generate ideas for process improvement, initiatives, and new technologies.
• Communicate and collaborate with product managers, project leads, and other software developers.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 1+ years of experience or demonstrable equivalent, including school projects or internships.
• Demonstrable programming experience, ideally on a modern stack.
• Willingness to roll up your sleeves, collaborate, and get stuff done.
• Some exposure to database and cloud technologies.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.

Compensation and Benefits
