Job summary

Galileo Financial Technologies is seeking a senior software engineer to lead the design, development, and testing of our systems and services. You will write, test, and deploy efficient, scalable code to production and ensure the codebase remains easy to change and shippable.

You will deliver highly available services in production, participate in a 24/7 pager rotation, mentor teammates, and collaborate with product and design on new initiatives and features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field.
• 6+ years of programming experience on a modern stack.
• Professional or native fluency in Spanish.
• Hands-on experience with CD principles and build/deploy pipelines.
• Ability to lead and influence a team’s technical direction.
• Demonstrated expertise with data store and cloud technologies, ideally within a microservice architecture.
• Demonstrated ability to design resilient software components within a distributed system.
• Demonstrated experience with monitoring and alerting tools.

• Collaborate with product and design on new initiatives and features.
