Mozilla Corporation is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for APZ (Asynchronous Pan & Zoom) to help advance Firefox rendering in a remote US setting. You’ll collaborate with Mozillians to build high-quality, open-source software that powers the web.

You’ll contribute across the stack with C/C++ and Rust, tackle performance and memory optimizations, participate in code reviews, and help triage and fix complex bugs, all while maintaining strong communication with the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in CS.
• Experience developing C/C++ and/or Rust applications.
• Strong debugging and optimization skills in a multi-threaded environment.
• Experience with memory and performance optimization tools.
• Proven record of finishing projects spanning several months.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to quickly learn and be effective with a large code base.
