Senior Software Engineer, Apple Services Engineering

Description

You will work on engineering the server stack for iCloud Accounts and contribute to the growth of this platform to meet future needs. Collaborating with multiple teams, you will design complex system architectures and implement high-performance code to support billions of concurrent users. Your responsibilities include all aspects of software development, from feature exploration to development, testing, and maintenance of applications. Minimum Qualifications

1. 7+ years of experience developing server software in Java, Go, or similar object-oriented languages
2. Experience working with large-scale databases (Relational or NoSQL)
3. Experience with multi-threaded programming, networking, and non-blocking I/O
4. Knowledge of designing and building large distributed systems
5. Bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related field or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience deploying and maintaining scalable applications
2. Experience building or maintaining high throughput, low latency systems
3. Understanding of cache coherence and caching strategies
4. Ability to build relationships with diverse groups of people
5. Self-motivated

Compensation and Benefits

The base pay range for this role is between $166,600 and $296,300, determined based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
