Responsibilities

The Music Services Engineering team is seeking an exceptional Automation Engineer to test large-scale cloud-based systems. You will help deliver high-quality systems and applications used by millions, involving tasks such as defining, implementing, and executing functional, regression, and acceptance tests. Your daily work will include bug reporting and isolation, test plan documentation, writing API-level automation, and maintaining automated tests. We seek a proactive individual with strong technical and communication skills eager to contribute within a collaborative team environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 5 years relevant work experience
• Ability to develop automated tests, applications, and frameworks
• Expertise in object-oriented programming concepts
• Proficiency in Java
• Experience with testing frameworks like TestNG and JUnit
• Experience with log analysis and debugging using Splunk
• Ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams in agile environments
• Knowledge of internet protocols, web proxies, caching, and related fundamentals
• Experience with REST API testing and backend client libraries (highly desirable)
• Experience with DevOps/SRE, CI/CD automation strategies
• Ability to estimate effort and impact of solutions
• Working knowledge of version control systems (Git) and build tools (Gradle, Maven)
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins

Preferred Qualifications

• Passion for quality assurance in software development
• Strong debugging, analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills
• High initiative and dedication to quality and efficiency

Pay & Benefits
