Everforth Apex Systems is seeking a Software Engineer-Developer 4 in Colorado Springs to design, develop, test, and maintain non-embedded software across its lifecycle. The role translates customer requirements into designs and ensures regulatory and industry standards compliance.

The candidate will lead API development, guide Agile DevSecOps activities, and mentor the team, delivering secure, scalable solutions and high-quality interfaces for front-end and back-end systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• 5+ years of software development for space systems and ground segments (command, control, mission planning, data processing).
• 5+ years of Python development; 3+ years JavaScript (Angular, JQuery); 3+ years TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and maintenance of requirements, architecture, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for high-performance APIs.
• Guide software development in an Agile environment with DevSecOps practices.
• Lead features and manage full software lifecycle from design to deployment.
• Build and consume APIs and backend services with emphasis on automation, testing, and security.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and standards.
