Real Time Consulting (RTC) seeks a Software Engineer - Aircraft Surveillance Systems in Phoenix, AZ. You will develop software requirements, code in C/C++, and verification test cases and procedures for aircraft surveillance systems in accordance with DO-178 lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has a BS in CS or ECE/AE, 5+ years aerospace experience, strong initiative, and excellent communication. You will work with remote teammates, adapt hours to customer schedules, and contribute to design

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or EE or AE
• 5+ years aerospace engineering experience
• Knowledge of DO-178 Full Lifecycle Development process
• Experience with requirements capture and management
• Experience translating software requirements to C/C++ code
• Experience developing detailed design documents
• Experience translating software requirements to verification test cases
• Experience developing verification test procedures
• Familiar with SCR processes and tools
• Familiar with software configuration management processes and tools
• Strong initiative and decision-making
• Ability to multitask between tasks
• Ability to interpret high level requirements
• Ability to set up the test environment (Validation Facility)
• Experience working with remote team members
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Flexibility to match customer schedule
• Flexibility to meet milestones
