Job summary

Applied Intuition, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and implement live, virtual, and constructive simulation solutions for multi-agent autonomy systems. You will develop interfaces, document architectures, and mentor junior engineers.

The role emphasizes integration of LVC components, collaboration across teams, and contributing to CI/CD pipelines while maintaining security standards. Candidates should have strong C++ and Docker experience and be eligible for a US security

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in modeling & simulation, computer science, or software engineering.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing performant modern C++ (2017+)
• Experience with simulation interoperability standards (DIS, HLA, DSEEP) to build LVC federations
• Knowledge of communication protocols and serialization mechanisms (DDS, ZeroMQ, Kafka, Redis, protobuf)
• Experience configuring, integrating, and using defense M&S tools (AFSIM, NGTS, flight simulators)
• Experience developing in Docker and containerized environments; Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu); tools like git, VS Code, GitLab, SonarQube, Artifactory or Azure Container Registry

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve integrated live, virtual, and constructive simulation solutions for experimentation and training of multi-agent autonomy software.
• Design and document LVC architectures, create simulation scenarios, write interface code, conduct code reviews, and solve integration roadblocks.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership, promoting good coding practices and industry standards.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and security compliance, write, test, and debug efficient code (C++ 2017+, Python 3.10+).
