Job summary

Raytheon Software Engineering in Fullerton, California is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Air C2 (Command and Control) and Sensors software team on-site. The role focuses on developing mission-critical C2 applications, participating in design, implementation, testing and maintenance, and collaborating within a cross-functional Agile environment.

Qualified candidates will typically hold a STEM degree with 5+ years of experience, and must be able to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret

Qualifications

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience with Object Oriented Design and Development, and Java application development.
Experience with databases as part of the software solution.
Able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance as and when required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

Develop Command and Control mission critical applications.
Participate in software C2 software design, implementation, test and maintenance.
Collaborate in a cross-functional / Agile environment.
Travel up to 25%
