Forward in Austin, TX is seeking a senior software engineer to own meaningful portions of the platform, ship full-stack work, and build agentic AI systems that automate complex workflows. You will be a core contributor on a growing team, turning ambiguous problems into solid technical solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping production systems at scale.
• Proven track record leading small teams while staying hands-on.
• Experience building agentic AI systems and LLM orchestration.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and DynamoDB data modeling.
• Cloud infra experience on AWS (EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM).
• Experience building systems from scratch and scaling them.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain full-stack apps with TS/Next.js/React/Node.js.
• Deliver end-to-end features from database schema to UI/UX with observability.
• Drive architecture across the stack balancing speed and durability.
• Design agentic AI systems and integrate LLM capabilities.
• Build real-time streaming data pipelines using Kafka and related tech.
• Improve security, observability, and PCI/SOC2 compliance posture.
