Job summary

Lumen is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and deliver software solutions in an agile environment supporting AI-driven workloads. You will work with peers to translate complex requirements into scalable systems across cloud, edge, and AI platforms.

The role emphasizes production-quality code, automated testing, and adherence to development best practices. Strong C#, .NET, JavaScript experience and Azure DevOps knowledge are expected.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience with a degree or equivalent
• Strong knowledge of C#, .NET and JavaScript
• Experience with Agile methodologies, planning, sprint management, daily standups and retrospectives
• Familiarity with JIRA and test automation practices
• Cloud development experience, preferably Azure DevOps
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in an Agile Scrum team to design, develop, test and deliver software
• Develop automated tests with product developers in an agile team
• Document work to promote transparency and reuse
• Build production-quality enterprise systems meeting SLAs for scalability and performance
• Participate actively in code reviews
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities
• Demonstrate accountability for completing assignments
