Job summary

Lumen is building the trusted network powering AI-ready connectivity across cloud, edge, and AI workloads. We seek a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and deliver impactful software in an Agile environment.

You will translate complex requirements into scalable solutions, collaborate with peers, and contribute to production-quality enterprise systems with strong reliability and performance. This role is remote within the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 6+ years of software development in relevant tech stacks.
• Master’s degree considered a plus; 4+ years with a master’s.
• Experience with Agile processes and Jira.
• Strong coding in C#, .NET and JavaScript; Oracle SQL experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in an Agile Scrum team to design, develop, test and deliver software.
• Translate requirements into scalable software solutions.
• Develop and test automated tests with product developers.
• Produce production-quality enterprise systems with required SLAs.
• Participate actively in code reviews and manage concurrent projects.
