Job summary

Amazon Advertising is seeking a Software Development Engineer to design and implement scalable architectures for APIs serving millions of advertisers. You will help build the MCP server infrastructure to deliver advertiser context with sub-second latency and low token usage.

You will establish system design patterns for a global ads experience at scale and collaborate across teams to advance AI-powered advertising solutions at AWS scale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience on large systems.
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• Experience with C#, C++, Java, or Perl.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable architectures for APIs serving millions of advertisers at thousands of transactions per second.
• Build Model Context Protocol (MCP) server infrastructure for AI agent-data interaction with sub-second latency.
• Establish system design patterns and best practices for global ads experience at scale.
