Job summary

Auth0 is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the AI Agentic Experience team. You will design and build tooling that helps developers secure and manage infrastructure, and you will create demo applications demonstrating secure, identity-powered AI use cases in real-world environments.

You will collaborate across engineering, product, and security teams to drive integration with emerging AI frameworks and to mentor others in architecture, testing, and code quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building tools, frameworks, or platforms for developers.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and experience with LLM APIs.
• Familiarity with authentication/authorization standards (OAuth2, OIDC, JWT).
• Demonstrated experience leading architecture and design efforts for scalable systems.
• Comfort with open source contributions and developer communities.

Responsibilities

• Design and build developer tooling to secure and manage infrastructure (MCP servers).
• Build demo applications showcasing secure, identity-powered AI use cases.
• Contribute to open source projects within Auth0 and the broader AI identity ecosystem.
• Write and maintain API references, quickstarts, and best practices for developers and tooling.
• Drive integration with emerging AI frameworks and orchestration layers.
• Collaborate with design, product, and security teams on developer needs and roadmaps.
• Mentor engineers, uphold code quality, testing practices, and architectural thinking.
• Influence engineering standards and participate in architectural decisions.
• Ensure resilience and security in agent-to-agent or model-to-service communications.
