Job summary

Abbott is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Plano, TX to design, develop, and deliver full‑stack software for connected neuromodulation products. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, including AI-enabled development tools.
• Hands-on full stack development with C#, .NET, Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS; experience with mobile UIs.
• Experience with embedded integration using languages like C/C++, Python, or Java.

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end capabilities for connected neuromodulation products using Angular, TypeScript, C#, .NET, C, and C++.
• Own features across the life cycle: estimation, design controls, reviews, integration, verification, and release.
• Write secure, maintainable code for IEC 62304 Class C environments with robust testing and CI/CD.
• Integrate interfaces across UI, backend, devices, firmware, cloud, and hardware-in-the-loop environments.
