Job summary
Abbott in Princeton, NJ, seeks a highly technical engineering lead to drive AI-enabled product development in the Point of Care division. You will influence technology strategy, lead cross-functional teams, and deliver scalable, compliant solutions to improve global patient care.
Responsibilities include advancing automation, rigorous testing, and collaboration with regulatory, quality, and product stakeholders to accelerate innovation and impact.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in technical field, or equivalent years of experience and education combined.
- 10 years of experience in medical device development and/or other highly regulated industry.
- Familiarity with AI, automation, and software-enabled product development is expected.
Responsibilities
- Lead research, development, and innovation initiatives to support business growth.
- Drive design, development, and deployment of AI-enabled tools and automation.
- Provide technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams and mentors engineers.
- Architect scalable solutions for system integration, verification, and global releases.
- Develop and execute modern test strategies and regulatory-aligned processes.
- Collaborate with customers, product management, and engineering to translate VOC insights into products.
