Job summary

Top Echelon Software, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead end-to-end feature development for scalable SaaS products. You will build across the stack using Ruby on Rails, React/TypeScript, and PostgreSQL, influencing architecture, APIs, and data models.

You’ll work with AWS, CI/CD, and AI-assisted tooling to accelerate delivery while mentoring peers and contributing to engineering best practices. This role emphasizes ownership, collaboration, and long-term impact.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Proficient with Ruby on Rails, React/TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
Experience with AWS and cloud-based development.
Experience owning features from design to production.
Experience with automated testing and CI/CD.
Familiarity with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Copilot, Codex) or similar.

Responsibilities

Build and own new product features from design to deployment and ongoing enhancements.
Develop full-stack SaaS applications using Ruby on Rails, React/TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.
Shape technical design decisions, APIs, and database structures.
Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, testing, and debugging.
Collaborate with a Principal Engineer to evolve AI-driven engineering practices.
Mentor other engineers through code reviews and guidance.
