Job summary

AssetWorks Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to join a cross-functional team with product management, QA, documentation, and support.

You will design and develop product functionality, learn the product, and validate requirements to shape future AssetWorks offerings. The role requires at least five years of professional development, strong JavaScript and C#, Angular with TypeScript and RxJS, API development, and experience with Git or SVN.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred, or an equivalent technical certificate.
• At least five years of professional development experience.
• Proficiency with JavaScript and C#, API development experience.
• Experience with Angular (TypeScript, RxJS) and source control.
• Strong communication, analytical, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Turn requirements into specs, designs and prototypes.
• Learn the product, validate requirements, and collaborate with PMs.
• Work with team to verify bugs, perform release testing, and support beta software.
• Demonstrate knowledge of all phases of the product lifecycle.
• Utilize AI tools (Kiro, GitLab Co-Pilot, ChatGPT) in workflows.
